Veterans EditionFramed within the mount is a superb original 1944 101st Airborne shoulder title, an original World War II, 82nd Airborne shoulder title, an original US infantryman’s clasp with combat wreath, an original piece of parachute silk, an original shell casing recovered from the Nijmegen area, an original safe conduct pass – which was dropped on the German troops during the Battle of Falaise and up through to Operation Market Garden, if German troops picked this up and handed in to allied forces they would be treated as Prisoners of War, but if the German Officers search them and they were found to have them in their pockets the consequences were dire.
