Peeling off from the intense dogfight over the English Channel, the two Spitfires low on fuel, head back to their Airfield, to re-arm and refuel so they can rejoin the fray. Looking down the pilots spot the women’s land army helping the local farmer gathering the crops, with the girls waving frantically the Spitfires waggle their wings in support and go their separate ways.
