The infamous Tiger Tank, one of the deadliest fighting machines ever built, and the most successful tank ace of WW11, Michael Willmann. Wittman’s Tiger advances toward Beauvais in June 1944 was to intercept the advancing British 7th Armoured Division, – the famous Desert Rats – during the Allied Invasion of Normandy. Awarded the Knight’s Cross with Oak leaves and Swords, Michael Wittmann was the most decorated tank commander of WW11 but, together with his entire crew, lost his life on August 8 in the battle for Cintheaux when his Tiger received a direct hit from a rocket fired by an RAF Typhoon ground attack fighter.Signed limited edition print of 400 worldwide, signed by the artist Nicolas Trudgian and Obergefrieter Henry Metelmann
