SGS Monolith Classic System Hoop

Replacement metal ring for the SGS (Smart Grid System) included in the Monolith Classic Pro Series 2.0 version. The Smart Grid ring serves as a support for inserting the grill grates into the SGS support frame. It has several eyelets at different heights where the ring's retaining tabs can be attached. Now the SGS grates can be inserted into the ring, either just one half of the grate or both together. The SGS system: This system allows you to grill with 1 grill (in the shape of a half-moon) or with 2 half-moons (forming a complete round grill), use half of the grill for direct cooking and the other half for indirect cooking, in addition to being able to regulate its height and collect the juices in the drip trays, as well as being able to remove the whole system for cleaning or configuration in a very convenient and practical way. The Smart Grid System can be used on all existing Monolith Classic models. For example:  You have the Monolith BASIC model, CLASSIC Pro Series 1.0 or an earlier version and you want to upgrade it.  The Classic model of the 2.0 Series already includes this system as a factory option.   What is the Smart Grid System?  The SGS is a unique system that allows not only direct and indirect cooking but also, thanks to its crescent design, the configuration of two different temperature zones. With the SGS with metal frame and detachable handles, it is also possible to lift the entire system (including 2 grills, 2 deflector stones and 2 grease collection trays) to remove it or insert it into the Monolith. Here we can see the details of the system and the ceramic deflector for indirect cooking in two pieces on the stainless steel structure that allows for different heights. Thanks to the two-piece, crescent-shaped design of the deflector, grease collection tray, and grill, two different temperature zones can be set up in the kamado for different cooking methods.
