With the stainless steel grill extension, the rack (Monolith Classic model only) can be raised approximately 12 cm so it can be connected to the top edge of the Monolith base and the lid closed. This positions the grill further from the heat source during both direct and indirect cooking. Turning food during cooking is easier, and a large container for collecting liquids can be placed under the grill. The second shelf level and the shelf lift cannot be used simultaneously.
