Tasting Comment: One of Houraisen’s flagship sake is known as Kuu (sky). Delicate, fragrant, and clean on the nose. Subtle complexity on the palate with wonderful soft mouthfeel and purity. Lovely sweetness balanced by clean crisp acidity. Food Suggestion: Sashimi, grilled freshwater fish, miso or yuzu flavored dishes, chawanmushi, tonkatsu, and grilled tuna.
